Job Summary
An International is looking for Conversion & Corrugator Machine Operators who would be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery used to manufacture corrugated cardboard sheets and convert them into finished packaging products. This role demands high technical skill, precision, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure raw paper materials are efficiently processed into high-quality, structurally sound packaging materials.
- Corrugation Process: Load jumbo paper reels onto machine feed tracks. Monitor the running of paper sheets through splices, steam-heated corrugating rolls, and starch/glue applicators to fuse the fluted paper with linerboard into a flat corrugated board.
- Conversion Process: Set up and operate downstream converting machinery that cuts, slots, scores, folds, glues, or stitches the corrugated sheets into custom box dimensions based on technical work orders.
